measurement results using pattern matching technology, wherein the surface roughnessof the plastic component (1) is measured after the forming process by the optical sensorunit (2). Said surface roughness is analyzed by the evaluating unit (4) on the basis of acomparison with a stored reference pattern such that an increased surface roughness isinterpreted as an increased inner porosity of the plastic.
