She was angry. Her face was red and her fists were clenched. She stomped her feet and yelled at everyone around her. No one knew why she was so mad, but they all knew to stay out of her way.
She had been having a bad day. Nothing seemed to go right for her. She failed a test, lost her favorite pencil, and got into an argument with her best friend. It was all too much for her to handle.
As she sat in the corner, fuming with anger, a small voice whispered in her ear. It was her little sister, looking up at her with big, innocent eyes. \"Why are you so mad?\" she asked.
The girl took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down. She realized that her anger was not helping anything. In fact, it was only making things worse. She looked at her sister and smiled, \"I'm sorry for being so angry. I just had a bad day.\"
Her sister hugged her tightly and said, \"It's okay. I still love you, even when you're angry.\"
And in that moment, the girl's anger melted away. She realized that it was okay to feel angry sometimes, but it was important to let go of that anger and move on. She learned that love and forgiveness were more powerful than anger.
And from that day on, whenever she felt the familiar heat of anger rising within her, she would remember her sister's words and take a deep breath. She knew that no matter what, she was loved.
